High Tech Illumination was founded in 2022 by Carlos Benitez and May Ornates with a simple mission: provide the highest quality electrical manpower in the industry. Over the past several years, our teams have supported projects across nearly every market sector, including multifamily housing, commercial developments, industrial facilities, healthcare, hospitality, education, and mission-critical environments. Each project strengthened our reputation for reliability, craftsmanship, and professionalism.

One of our proudest achievements came in 2025 when our team played a significant role in the construction of DC9, one of the largest data center projects in the region. Working on a project of this scale required exceptional planning, technical expertise, and execution. The success of that project not only reinforced our capabilities but also provided the foundation for the next chapter of our company.

As part of this transition, High Tech Illumination welcomed Clyde Elrod to lead the growth of our contracting division.

Clyde brings a decade of experience in electrical estimating, project management, operations, and business development. His knowledge of commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction strengthens our ability to successfully manage projects from preconstruction through final completion.

Together, our leadership team combines entrepreneurial vision, field experience, and operational expertise to deliver exceptional results for every client.
